Overview
About interventions at Snap Diagnostics
Interventional radiology treats through the smallest possible opening, guided in real time by ultrasound or CT. Most procedures are done under local anaesthesia as a day case: you walk in, and in the large majority of cases you walk out the same day.
What we perform
How to prepare
Getting these four things right means your study runs on time and does not need to be repeated.
- 1Bring a recent coagulation profile (PT/INR) and platelet count.
- 2Blood thinners may need to be paused — ask your physician first.
- 3Fast for 6 hours before the procedure.
- 4Arrange for someone to accompany you home afterwards.
On the day of your visit
Arrive 15 minutes early
Registration, consent and — for imaging — a safety screening questionnaire take a few minutes.
Bring your paperwork
Referral letter, previous reports and films, a photo ID, and your insurance or TPA card if you are claiming.
Tell us everything relevant
Implants, allergies, current medication, pregnancy or the possibility of it, and any anxiety about enclosed spaces.
Collect or receive your report
Routine imaging reports are released within one hour and pathology the same day — in person, or as a WhatsApp and email link to the details you register.
