Our story
Why Snap Diagnostics exists.
Ranchi had scanners. What it did not consistently have was subspecialty reporting — and a scan that is not read properly is a scan you will have to repeat.
A scan is only as good as its reporting
Two radiologists trained at AIIMS New Delhi and PGI Chandigarh kept seeing the same pattern — patients travelling hundreds of kilometres for studies that could have been done at home, had someone been reading them properly.

A 3T Siemens MRI with 108-channel architecture and AI reconstruction. Philips CT with bolus-tracked angiography. Mindray 4-D ultrasound. Allengers digital radiography. A full clinical laboratory alongside.

Report accuracy above all
Every study is read by a consultant radiologist. Complex cases are double-read before release. We would rather take an extra hour than issue a report we are not certain of.

Slots are real appointments, not a queue number. Routine imaging reports are released within one hour because a diagnosis you are waiting on is a diagnosis that is costing you sleep.
Explained, not just performed
Our technologists talk you through the study before it starts, and our consultants take calls from patients who want their report explained. Understanding your scan is part of the service.

MRI metal screening on every patient. Dose modulation on every CT. Barcoded samples from collection to result. Safety is a process we run, not a claim we make.
Pricing without surprises
Rates are quoted before the study begins and itemised on the invoice afterwards. If a cheaper study answers your question equally well, we will tell you so.

Technology
The equipment, and why each piece was chosen.
Machines do not read scans — but the wrong machine can hide what a radiologist needs to see. Each system here was selected for a specific clinical reason.
- 3T MRI, 108-channel, AI reconstruction
- Twice the signal of a 1.5T system, spent on either finer detail or a shorter scan. Deep-learning reconstruction gives us both at once.
- Dose-modulated CT with bolus tracking
- Tube current adjusts continuously across the body, and contrast timing is triggered by the vessel itself rather than a stopwatch.
- 4-D ultrasound with full Doppler
- Real-time volumetric imaging for obstetrics, plus elastography and vascular Doppler for abdominal and MSK work.
- Direct digital radiography
- Image on the reporting screen seconds after exposure, at markedly lower dose than film-screen systems.
