How Snap Diagnostics collects, stores, uses and protects your personal and health information.

Last updated 1 July 2026

1

The information we collect

To provide diagnostic services we collect information you give us directly and information generated in the course of your care.

  • Identity and contact details — name, age, sex, phone number, email address and postal address.
  • Clinical information — referral letters, symptoms, clinical history, prior reports and images.
  • Diagnostic data — images, scans, laboratory results and the reports our consultants issue.
  • Transaction records — invoices, payment method and insurance or TPA details where applicable.
  • Website data — pages visited and general usage statistics, collected in aggregate.
2

How we use it

Your information is used to perform the investigation you have come for, to issue an accurate report, to communicate results to you and to your referring doctor, to raise an invoice, and to meet our legal and regulatory record-keeping obligations.

We may use anonymised, non-identifiable data for internal quality assurance and audit. Such data cannot be traced back to an individual patient.

3

Who we share it with

We share your information only where it is necessary and lawful:

  • With the doctor who referred you, and with clinicians directly involved in your care.
  • With you, or a person you have authorised in writing to collect your report.
  • With your insurer or TPA, where you have asked us to process a claim.
  • With laboratories or specialist centres where a sample must be referred for a test we do not perform in-house.
  • With regulatory or judicial authorities, where disclosure is required by law.

We do not sell your personal or health information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers under any circumstances.

4

How we protect it

Records are held on access-controlled systems. Physical records and films are stored in restricted areas. Staff access is limited to what each role requires, and every member of our team is bound by a confidentiality undertaking as a condition of employment.

Reports sent electronically are delivered only to the phone number or email address registered with us at the time of booking. Please make sure those details are correct, and tell us promptly if they change.

5

How long we keep it

Clinical records and reports are retained for the period required under applicable medical record-keeping regulations, and for longer where a record is relevant to an ongoing matter. Records no longer required are destroyed securely.

6

Your rights

You may, at any time:

  • Request a copy of the records we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct an inaccuracy in your personal details.
  • Withdraw consent for non-essential communication such as health updates.
  • Ask how your information has been used or disclosed.

Write to support@snapdiagnostics.in or speak to the centre manager to exercise any of these rights. We respond to such requests within a reasonable period.

7

Cookies and this website

This website uses only the storage necessary to make the site work and to understand aggregate traffic patterns. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Any information you enter into the appointment or contact form is used solely to respond to that request.
