Terms & Conditions

The terms on which Snap Diagnostics provides diagnostic services and on which this website may be used.

Last updated 1 July 2026

1

Acceptance

By using this website, booking an appointment or availing any service at Snap Diagnostics, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the website or our services.

2

Services we provide

Snap Diagnostics provides diagnostic imaging, pathology and related investigative services. We are a diagnostic centre, not a treating hospital. Our reports are diagnostic opinions intended for interpretation by a qualified clinician alongside your clinical examination and history.

3

Appointments and attendance

An appointment request submitted through this website is a request, not a confirmation. Your slot is confirmed only when our team contacts you by phone or message.

  • Please arrive fifteen minutes before your scheduled time.
  • Bring your referral, previous reports and films, and a valid photo identity document.
  • Follow the preparation instructions given to you — an unprepared patient may need to be rescheduled.
  • Slots not attended without notice may be released to other patients.
4

Reports

Routine imaging reports are released within one hour of the investigation being completed, and pathology is committed same day. Histopathology, cultures, specialised assays and referred tests take longer, and the expected timeline is communicated at the time of registration.

Reports are issued to the patient or to a person authorised in writing by the patient. Electronic reports are delivered only to the contact details registered with us. We are not responsible for a report sent correctly to details that you provided incorrectly.

5

Payment

Charges are payable at the time of service unless a corporate, institutional or insurance arrangement is in place and has been confirmed in advance. Rates are displayed at the counter and quoted on request, and may be revised without prior notice.

Where an insurance or TPA claim is being processed, the patient remains responsible for any amount the insurer declines to settle.

6

Your responsibilities

Accurate information is a clinical safety matter, not a formality. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate identity, contact and clinical information.
  • Declare all implants, devices, prior surgery, allergies and current medication.
  • Inform us if you are pregnant or may be pregnant before any radiation-based study.
  • Follow all preparation and post-procedure instructions given to you.
7

Website content

Information on this website is provided for general awareness and does not constitute medical advice. It is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified doctor. Content, branding, images and the Snap Diagnostics name and logo are the property of Snap Diagnostics and may not be reproduced without written permission.

8

Limitation of liability

We take reasonable professional care in performing and reporting every investigation. To the extent permitted by law, Snap Diagnostics is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for outcomes arising from information withheld or misstated by a patient, or for clinical decisions taken by third parties on the basis of our reports.

9

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Ranchi, Jharkhand.

This policy applies to Snap Diagnostics, Ranchi. It is reviewed periodically and any change is published on this page with an updated revision date. Continuing to use our services after a revision indicates acceptance of the current version.
